Today is Maghe Sankranti. A festival where the earth tilts and the signal that spring is coming soon.
In this day, we sort of celebrate sesames but we mostly celebrate when the season changes and the earth tilts in another direction. We eat long potatoes, ghee, black pulses, chakhu meaning something that is in a newari kind of food called yamari, and yes that’s all we eat. Fun fact: In India, in this day, they fly kites that you can’t see the sky!😱😱😱😱😱
